When first looking at this photograph, I was connected straight to the beak!
I gave the vision 5 stars, because of the emotion & determination on this eagles face. Very well captured! I love how you're only captured this eagles upper body. This is what wildlife photography is all about, the right proportion to make the photograph effective.
Sorry about the 4 stars for originality! But I have seen many (not a lot) of wildlife images the same as this. I'm not saying this is bad, because of how much emotion you have captured.
I've tried & failed at attempts with capturing birds (let alone other things sometimes!) so your techniques were well thought of! This image would be very sharp without it being on deviantART (I think?)
The impact for me was to do with the beak (as you've read.) The colour of the beak is bright, which shows me the focal point. I think this photograph in general is amazing, you should feel really proud. Hope I helped.
